अनुच्छेद 91: यह अनुच्छेद सभापति के पद की रिक्तियों के दौरान या उपराष्ट्रपति द्वारा राष्ट्रपति के रूप में कार्य किए जाने पर उपसभापति या अन्य व्यक्तियों द्वारा सभापति के कर्तव्यों का पालन करने की शक्ति से संबंधित है।
अनुच्छेद 89: यह राज्यसभा के सभापति और उपसभापति के पद से संबंधित है (इसके तहत उपराष्ट्रपति राज्यसभा के पदेन सभापति होते हैं)।
अनुच्छेद 65: इसके अनुसार उपराष्ट्रपति, राष्ट्रपति के रूप में कार्य करते समय या उनके कृत्यों का निर्वहन करते समय राज्यसभा के सभापति के कर्तव्यों का पालन नहीं करेंगे।
अनुच्छेद 64: यह प्रावधान करता है कि उपराष्ट्रपति राज्यसभा का पदेन सभापति होगा और अन्य किसी लाभ के पद पर नहीं रहेगा।
