स्रास (SROSS
- Stretched Rohini Satellite Series) उपग्रह श्रृंखला भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन द्वारा वैज्ञानिक प्रयोगों और रिमोट सेंसिंग उद्देश्यों के लिए बनाई गई थी।
इन उपग्रहों को अंतरिक्ष में स्थापित करने के लिए ASLV (Augmented Satellite Launch Vehicle या संवर्धित उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान) का उपयोग किया गया था।
ASLV को पूर्ववर्ती SLV-3 रॉकेट की तुलना में अधिक पेलोड क्षमता (लगभग 150 किलोग्राम तक) के साथ पृथ्वी की निचली कक्षा (LEO) में उपग्रह स्थापित करने के लिए विशेष रूप से विकसित किया गया था।
