संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के अस्थायी सदस्य 2 वर्ष के लिए चुने जाते हैं।
मुख्य बिंदु:
संरचना: सुरक्षा परिषद में कुल 15 सदस्य होते हैं, जिनमें 5 स्थायी सदस्य (अमेरिका, रूस, चीन, ब्रिटेन और फ्रांस) और 10 अस्थायी सदस्य होते हैं।
चयन प्रक्रिया: 10 अस्थायी सदस्यों का चुनाव संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा क्षेत्रीय प्रतिनिधित्व के आधार पर दो साल के कार्यकाल के लिए किया जाता है।
वार्षिक बदलाव: हर साल इनमें से 5 अस्थायी सदस्यों का कार्यकाल समाप्त होता है और उनके स्थान पर नए सदस्यों का चुनाव किया जाता है।
