लॉर्ड कर्जन द्वारा 1905 में किए गए बंगाल के विभाजन को वर्ष 1911 में रद्द कर दिया गया था।
दिल्ली दरबार (1911): दिसंबर 1911 में इंग्लैंड के राजा जॉर्ज पंचम और क्वीन मैरी के स्वागत में दिल्ली में एक भव्य दरबार (दिल्ली दरबार) का आयोजन किया गया था।
निर्णय: इसी दरबार में ब्रिटिश सम्राट द्वारा बंगाल विभाजन को रद्द करने की घोषणा की गई।
अन्य महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तन: बंगाल विभाजन को रद्द करने के साथ-साथ भारत की राजधानी को कलकत्ता से बदलकर दिल्ली स्थानांतरित करने की भी घोषणा की गई थी।
