व्याख्या
गोल सम्मेलन (Round Table Conferences): ब्रिटिश सरकार द्वारा भारत के भविष्य के संविधान और सुधारों पर चर्चा के लिए 1930 से 1932 के बीच लंदन में कुल तीन गोलमेज सम्मेलन आयोजित किए गए थे।
सहभागिता: डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर ने दलितों (शोषित वर्गों) के अधिकारों और हितों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए तीनों (प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीय) गोलमेज सम्मेलनों में भाग लिया था।
अन्य प्रमुख तथ्य: महात्मा गांधी ने केवल दूसरे गोलमेज सम्मेलन (1931) में कांग्रेस के एकमात्र प्रतिनिधि के रूप में भाग लिया था।
