अनुच्छेद 143 (Article
- 143) भारतीय संविधान के तहत भारत के राष्ट्रपति को यह शक्ति देता है कि यदि उन्हें किसी समय ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि विधि या तथ्य का कोई ऐसा प्रश्न उत्पन्न हुआ है जो सार्वजनिक महत्व का है, तो वे उस प्रश्न पर सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की राय ले सकते हैं।
सर्वोच्च न्यायालय इस संदर्भ में राष्ट्रपति को अपनी सलाह दे सकता है, हालांकि राष्ट्रपति उस सलाह को मानने के लिए बाध्य नहीं होते हैं।
