स्पष्टीकरण:
भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 263 के तहत 'अंतर-राज्यीय परिषद' (Inter-State Council) की स्थापना का प्रावधान किया गया है।
मुख्य बिंदु:
यह परिषद केंद्र और राज्यों के बीच तथा विभिन्न राज्यों के आपसी विवादों की जांच, उन पर चर्चा और समन्वय स्थापित करने का कार्य करती है।
राष्ट्रपति को यह शक्ति दी गई है कि यदि लोकहित में ऐसी परिषद की स्थापना करना आवश्यक प्रतीत हो, तो वे इसका गठन कर सकते हैं (सरकारी आयोग की सिफारिश पर इसका गठन किया गया था)।
