व्याख्या
भारतीय ध्वज संहिता, 2002 के अनुसार भारतीय राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के आकार और माप के संबंध में निम्नलिखित प्रावधान हैं:
आकार (Shape): भारतीय राष्ट्रीय ध्वज का समग्र आकार आयताकार (Rectangular) होता है।
लंबाई और चौड़ाई का अनुपात: ध्वज की लंबाई और चौड़ाई का आधिकारिक अनुपात 3:2 (तीन अनुपात दो) निर्धारित किया गया है, जिसका अर्थ है कि यदि लंबाई 3 इकाई है तो चौड़ाई 2 इकाई होगी।
मानक माप: ध्वज को विभिन्न निश्चित आकारों (जैसे 600×400 मिमी, 1500×1000 मिमी आदि) में बनाया जा सकता है, लेकिन सभी आकारों में 3:2 का अनुपात बनाए रखना अनिवार्य होता है।
