पूर्ण रूप: इस योजना का पूरा नाम Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (सांसद स्थानीय क्षेत्र विकास योजना) है।
उद्देश्य: इस योजना के तहत संसद के दोनों सदनों (लोकसभा और राज्यसभा) के प्रत्येक सांसद को अपने निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में टिकाऊ सामुदायिक संपत्तियों (जैसे सड़क, स्कूल भवन, पेयजल सुविधाएं आदि) के निर्माण के लिए हर साल एक निश्चित राशि मिलती है।
