भारत के संविधान में देश के विभिन्न जनप्रतिनिधि पदों के लिए अलग-अलग न्यूनतम आयु सीमा तय की गई है ताकि संसद और राज्य विधानमंडल के लिए परिपक्व नेतृत्व मिल सके।
