नियंत्रक एवं महालेखा परीक्षक (CAG) की नियुक्ति
नियुक्ति कर्ता: भारत के नियंत्रक एवं महालेखा परीक्षक (CAG) की नियुक्ति भारत के राष्ट्रपति द्वारा की जाती है।
संवैधानिक पद: भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 148 के तहत CAG का पद एक स्वतंत्र और सर्वोच्च संस्था के रूप में स्थापित किया गया है।
कार्य और कार्यकाल: यह देश की संपूर्ण वित्तीय प्रणाली का नियंत्रण और लेखा-परीक्षण (Audit) करता है। इनका कार्यकाल 6 वर्ष या 65 वर्ष की आयु (जो भी पहले हो) तक होता है।
