भारत का राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित होने के लिए न्यूनतम आयु सीमा 35 वर्ष है।
संवैधानिक पात्रता: भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 58 के अनुसार, राष्ट्रपति पद के लिए उम्मीदवार में निम्नलिखित योग्यताएँ होनी चाहिए:
वह भारत का नागरिक हो।
उसने 35 वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर ली हो।
वह लोकसभा का सदस्य चुने जाने के योग्य हो।
वह केंद्र या राज्य सरकार के अधीन अथवा किसी स्थानीय प्राधिकार के अधीन किसी लाभ के पद पर न हो।
