व्याख्या
संपत्ति का अधिकार अब भारतीय संविधान के तहत एक मौलिक अधिकार नहीं है।
मुख्य बिंदु:
संवैधानिक संशोधन: इसे वर्ष 1978 के 44वें संविधान संशोधन अधिनियम द्वारा मौलिक अधिकारों की सूची से हटा दिया गया था।
वर्तमान स्थिति: संपत्ति के अधिकार को अब संविधान के भाग XII के तहत अनुच्छेद 300-क (300A) में एक साधारण कानूनी या विधिक अधिकार (Legal Right) के रूप में रखा गया है।
कारण: इसे हटाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य सरकार द्वारा भूमि सुधार और सार्वजनिक हित की परियोजनाओं को आसानी से लागू करना था ताकि संपत्ति के अधिकार के कारण विकास कार्य बाधित न हों।
