छह मित्र अमन, रमन, दीपू, ललित, आदित्य और शिवम अलग-अलग रंग पसंद करते हैं यानी गुलाबी, पीला, सफेद, हरा, लाल और बैंगनी, लेकिन जरूरी नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हों। उनमें से प्रत्येक एक अलग कॉलेज यानी A, B, C, D, E और F में पढ़ता है, लेकिन जरूरी नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो। ललित को हरा रंग पसंद है लेकिन वह कॉलेज A या E में नहीं पढ़ता है। आदित्य कॉलेज F में पढ़ता है लेकिन उसे गुलाबी रंग पसंद नहीं है। शिवम कॉलेज D या E में नहीं पढ़ता है। दीपू को बैंगनी रंग पसंद है और वह कॉलेज C में पढ़ता है। अमन कॉलेज B में पढ़ता है और उसे सफेद रंग पसंद है। जो व्यक्ति लाल रंग पसंद करता है वह कॉलेज E में पढ़ता है। लाल रंग किसे पसंद है?
