व्याख्या
अनुच्छेद 263 अंतर-राज्यीय परिषद (Inter-State Council) की स्थापना से संबंधित है।
मुख्य बिंदु:
गठन की शक्ति: राष्ट्रपति को यह अधिकार है कि यदि कभी ऐसा प्रतीत हो कि अंतर-राज्यीय परिषद की स्थापना से लोकहित सध सकता है, तो वह ऐसी परिषद की स्थापना कर सकता है।
कार्य: इसका मुख्य कार्य राज्यों के बीच विवादों की जाँच करना, उन पर विचार विमर्श करना और राज्यों तथा केंद्र के बीच समन्वय स्थापित करना है।
सिफारिश: सरकारी आयोग (Sarkaria Commission) की सिफारिश के आधार पर 1990 में राष्ट्रपति के आदेश द्वारा पहली बार अंतर-राज्यीय परिषद का गठन किया गया था।
