व्याख्या
तृतीय आंग्ल-बर्मा युद्ध (Third Anglo-Burmese War) लॉर्ड डफरिन के गवर्नर-जनरल और वायसराय के कार्यकाल (1884–1888) के दौरान हुआ था।
मुख्य बिंदु:
यह युद्ध वर्ष 1885 में लड़ा गया था, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप बर्मा (वर्तमान म्यांमार) के अंतिम राजा थीबा को पराजित किया गया।
इस युद्ध के तुरंत बाद, 1 जनवरी 1886 को ब्रिटिश साम्राज्य द्वारा बर्मा को आधिकारिक तौर पर ब्रिटिश भारत में मिला लिया गया था।
