औद्योगिक नीति प्रस्ताव, 1956 (Industrial Policy Resolution, 1956): इस नीति को पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू के कार्यकाल में अपनाया गया था।
इसे भारत का 'आर्थिक संविधान' (Economic Constitution) इसलिए कहा जाता है क्योंकि इसने भारत के समाजवादी समाज के ढांचे को आधार प्रदान किया और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र (Public Sector) को देश के औद्योगिक विकास का प्रमुख चालक बनाया।
