व्याख्या
इंसुलिन हार्मोन अग्नाशय (Pancreas) द्वारा स्रावित होता है।
मुख्य बिंदु:
स्राव का स्थान: अग्नाशय के अंदर स्थित 'लैंगरहैंस की द्वीपिकाएं' (Islets of Langerhans) की बीटा कोशिकाओं से इंसुलिन का स्राव होता है।
कार्य: यह रक्त में शर्करा (Glucose) के स्तर को नियंत्रित और संतुलित रखने में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
बीमारी: इंसुलिन की कमी या शरीर द्वारा इसका सही उपयोग न कर पाने के कारण मधुमेह (Diabetes) रोग हो जाता है।
