पंचायतों का सामान्य कार्यकाल
अवधि: भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 243-E के तहत, किसी भी स्तर की पंचायत का कार्यकाल उसकी पहली बैठक के लिए नियत तिथि से 5 वर्ष का होता है।
विशेष परिस्थिति: यदि इससे पहले किसी कारणवश पंचायत भंग हो जाती है, तो निर्धारित नियमों के तहत नए चुनाव कराए जाते हैं।
निष्कर्ष: पंचायतों का सामान्य कार्यकाल पांच वर्षों का होता है।
