'अधिकार पृच्छा' (Quo Warranto) लाटिनी भाषा का शब्द है जिसका शाब्दिक अर्थ "किस प्राधिकार से" या "किस अधिकार या वारंट से" (By what authority or warrant) होता है।
इस रिट का उपयोग न्यायालय द्वारा तब किया जाता है जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी सार्वजनिक पद (Public Office) पर अवैध रूप से कब्जा कर लेता है या बिना किसी विधिक अधिकार के उस पद पर कार्य करता है।
न्यायालय इस रिट के माध्यम से उस व्यक्ति से यह पूछता है कि वह किस अधिकार के तहत उस पद पर आसीन है, और यदि वह संतोषजनक उत्तर नहीं दे पाता है, तो उसे पद से हटा दिया जाता है।
