राजधानी परिवर्तन: इसी घोषणा के तहत ब्रिटिश भारत की राजधानी को कलकत्ता से स्थानांतरित करके दिल्ली लाने का निर्णय भी लिया गया, जो 1912 में प्रभावी हुआ।
पूर्वी बंगाल का विलय: बंगाल विभाजन रद्द करते हुए बिहार और उड़ीसा को बंगाल से अलग कर एक नया प्रांत बनाया गया, जबकि असम को अलग कमिश्नरी क्षेत्र बनाया गया।
