भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 368 के तहत लाए जाने वाले संविधान संशोधन विधेयक को संसद के प्रत्येक सदन (लोकसभा और राज्यसभा) द्वारा अलग-अलग विशेष बहुमत से पारित किया जाना अनिवार्य होता है।

इसके विपरीत, साधारण विधेयकों और वित्त विधेयकों को सामान्य बहुमत की आवश्यकता होती है, जबकि धन विधेयक केवल लोकसभा में पेश किए जाते हैं।
