अविश्वास प्रस्ताव (No-Confidence Motion) केवल लोकसभा में ही लाया जा सकता है।
मुख्य बिंदु:
भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 75 के अनुसार मंत्रिपरिषद सामूहिक रूप से लोकसभा के प्रति उत्तरदायी होती है।
सरकार को बहुमत साबित करने या हटाने का अधिकार केवल लोकसभा के पास होता है, इसलिए अविश्वास प्रस्ताव राज्यसभा में पेश नहीं किया जा सकता।
इसे लाने के लिए लोकसभा के कम से कम 50 सदस्यों का समर्थन आवश्यक होता है।
