Biology · Chromoplast
What is the primary function of chromoplasts in plants?
- 1To break down cellular waste and toxic substances
- 2To carry out the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis
- 3To synthesize and store starch, lipids, and proteins
- 4To synthesize and store pigments that provide non-green colors to flowers and fruits✓
Correct answer
To synthesize and store pigments that provide non-green colors to flowers and fruits
Explanation
