Sentences of a paragraph are given below. While the first and the last sentences (S1 and S6) are in the correct order, the sentences in between (P, Q, R, S) are jumbled up. Arrange them in the correct order to form a meaningful paragraph. S1. It may be argued that abandoning the traditional required courses will narrow the range of subjects to which the student is exposed. P. But having students remain ignorant of a subject is probably less damaging in the long run than having them grow hostile to it through enforced attendance. Q. Besides, it is probably wrong to think that many students will take totally one-sided programs. R. This may perhaps be true in some cases; students deeply committed to science, say, may avoid courses in humanities, just as students of the humanities may avoid the sciences. S. A healthy curiosity, unspoiled by nagging requirements, will probably cause many students to branch out anyway. S6. Perhaps it will not be till their senior year that they decide to take music, philosophy or astronomy; but it is certainly better to take these courses later and willingly than earlier and under compulsion.
