General Intelligence · Passage and Conclusion

Read the passage carefully and determine the validity of the statement given below it. Passage: A wildlife conservation officer reports that about 3 lakh migratory birds of different species have reached the Kashmir Valley. Generally, about 9 lakh birds arrive in the Kashmir Valley every year from different cold regions across the world because Kashmir is less cold during this period compared to their native habitats. They start arriving in September. Ahmed, a Shikara owner, mentions that after the devastating incidents of 2016, tourist footfall in the valley decreased considerably. He believes these migratory birds can fill this vacuum by attracting global tourists. Therefore, if the tourism department promotes this on a large scale in a planned manner, it will boost tourism in the valley. Statement: The arrival of migratory birds in the valley every year in September can be used to promote tourism here.
