Read the following passage and answer the question: Some in the heritage sector have seen communities living in a state of neither luxury nor lack, enjoying the fulfillment of being master artisans who possess a profound sense of purpose. They did not view the absence of modern consumerism as a deficiency, for their identity was rooted in the intricate creation of goods that define their culture and sustain their local economy. We have also seen the destruction of these traditions through the eroding force of mass manufacturing and global digital platforms that seize local designs and resources. This displacement strips traditional makers not just of income but of the spiritual connection to their work. Instead, they face anxiety over their children's future and a sense of invisibility because they lack the capital to challenge the giant conglomerates currently eroding their way of life. Denied a foothold in the future of an industry they helped build, they are forced to abandon their looms and workshops to become low-wage laborers. This cultural drain is often defended in economic debates by referring to the lower prices and efficiencies that materialize for others. I contend that, in truth, civilization becomes poorer and more fragile. We are poorer figuratively when we permit the erasure of unique human expressions and the right to live with dignity. We are also poorer literally. By endorsing a system of disposable goods and the massive carbon footprint of global logistics, we jeopardize the health of our planet and the security of our own existence. Preservationists and labor advocates have long seen that the decay of traditional knowledge is linked to the economic marginalization of local communities. Yet, our collaboration has been inconsistent. We have failed to debunk the myth, spread by corporate lobbies, that these losses are the unavoidable price of progress. Both our groups share responsibility for this. Defending rights is only the first step; we must ensure that industrial policies reflect the aspirations of those who keep our culture alive. Which of the following would be the most suitable title for the passage?
- 1Digital Markets and Local Sellers
- 2The Efficiency of Modern Factories
- 3The History of Global Trade
