मुख्य बिंदु:
प्राकृतिक गैस में सबसे प्रचुर मात्रा में मीथेन गैस पाई जाती है, जो कुल संरचना का लगभग 70% से 90% हिस्सा होती है।
प्राकृतिक गैस को भंडारण और परिवहन को आसान बनाने के लिए अत्यधिक कम तापमान (लगभग -162 डिग्री सेल्सियस) पर ठंडा करके तरल अवस्था (LNG) में बदला जाता है।
