Mathematics · Speed, Time and Distance
In this question, two Quantities I and II are given. You have to solve both quantities to establish the correct relation between them and choose the appropriate option. Quantity-I: A car travels a distance of 600 km at a certain speed for 't' hours. If the speed is increased by 50%, it takes (t - 2) hours to cover the same distance. Find the original speed of the car. Quantity-II: A car travels from city 'P' to city 'Q' with a speed of (y + 20) km/hr and travels back from city 'Q' to city 'P' with a speed of 'y' km/hr. If the car takes 12 hours to travel from city 'P' to city 'Q', find the average speed of the car given that the distance between 'P' and 'Q' is 420 km.
- 1Quantity-I = Quantity-II or No relation
- 2Quantity-I ≤ Quantity-II
- 3Quantity-I < Quantity-II
- 4Quantity-I > Quantity-II✓
Correct answer
