Mathematics · Time, Speed and Distance
In the question, two Quantities I and II are given. Solve both quantities to establish the correct relation between them: Quantity I: Train 'P' and train 'Q' while running in opposite directions can cross each other in 15 seconds. The length of train 'P' and train 'Q' is 300 metres and 150 metres, respectively. If the speed of train 'P' and train 'Q' is 72 km/h and 'x' km/h, respectively, then find the value of 'x'. Quantity II: The ratio of the speed of a boat in still water to the speed of the stream is 4 : 1. The boat can cover 75 km downstream in 3 hours. Find the value of 'x', if the total time taken by the boat to go 'x' km along the stream as well as against the stream is 10 hours.
- 1Quantity-I = Quantity-II or No relation
- 2Quantity-I ≤ Quantity-II
- 3Quantity-I < Quantity-II✓
- 4Quantity-I > Quantity-II
Correct answer
