In alternating current (AC) circuits, if p(t), v(t), and i(t) represent the instantaneous power, voltage, and current respectively, the instantaneous power is given by:
- 1p(t) = v(t) × i(t)✓
- 2p(t) = v(t) + i(t)
- 3p(t) = v(t) ÷ i(t)
- 4p(t) = v(t) - i(t)
Correct answer
p(t) = v(t) × i(t)
