भारतीय संविधान के अनुसार, भारत का उपराष्ट्रपति बनने के लिए न्यूनतम आयु 35 वर्ष होनी चाहिए।

संवैधानिक प्रावधान: भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 66
- (3) के अनुसार, उपराष्ट्रपति पद के लिए उम्मीदवार को भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए, कम से कम 35 वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर चुका होना चाहिए और राज्य सभा का सदस्य चुने जाने के लिए योग्य होना चाहिए।
अन्य पद: राष्ट्रपति और राज्यपाल पद के लिए भी न्यूनतम आयु सीमा 35 वर्ष ही निर्धारित की गई है। लोकसभा सदस्य बनने के लिए 25 वर्ष और राज्यसभा सदस्य बनने के लिए न्यूनतम आयु 30 वर्ष होती है।
