भारतीय संविधान का अनुच्छेद 335 अनुसूचित जातियों (SC) और अनुसूचित जनजातियों (ST) के दावों से संबंधित है।
मुख्य बिंदु:
यह अनुच्छेद संघ या राज्य के कला-कौशल, सेवाओं और पदों में नियुक्तियों के लिए विचार करते समय अनुसूचित जातियों और अनुसूचित जनजातियों के दावों को ध्यान में रखने का प्रावधान करता है।
इसके तहत प्रशासनिक दक्षता को बनाए रखते हुए इन वर्गों के लिए आरक्षण और प्रतिनिधित्व का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया गया है।
संविधान (बयासीवां संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2000 द्वारा इसमें यह भी जोड़ा गया कि एससी और एसटी के उम्मीदवारों के लिए पदोन्नति के मामलों में अहक अंकों (qualifying marks) या मूल्यांकन मानकों में छूट दी जा सकती है।
