A dielectric material of dielectric constant K is inserted into a parallel plate capacitor. The dielectric slab has the same area as the plates of the capacitor and its thickness is 34d, where d is the separation between the plates. The new capacitance C' in terms of the original capacitance C0 is given by the relation:
- 1C' = 43 + K C0
- 2C' = 4 + K3 C0
- 3C' = 4KK + 3 C0✓
- 4C' = 3 + K4K C0
Correct answer
C' = 4KK + 3 C0
